Welcome Baby Oesch!
On May 16, 2008 current staff members, Brian and Shannon Oesch, welcomed thier first child, Emmet Solomon, to their home. Born at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital at 8:14 p.m, Emmet weighed seven pounds and four ounces and was twenty-one and a half inches long. AMS staff and students alike are thrilled to have this new addition to the community. Congratulations Brian and Shannon - he's a real cutey!
Petersen and Sparks Wedding!
On Friday evening, June 13, 2008, former staff member, Bryan Petersen and potter, Liz Sparks, were married in the garden at AMS. One hundred and twenty guests, including many former AMS staff, attended this beautiful Quaker style wedding. Liz is currently attending graduate school at Alfred University in New York State where she is pursuing her MSA in ceramics and Bryan is living in Bozeman, Montana where he is the Assistant Professor of Metalsmithing at the University of Montana. Congratulations Bryan and Liz!
AMS 2008 Graduation
This year Arthur Morgan School had seven students graduate from ninth grade. Graduation was held on Saturday, May 24, and was attended by staff, family and friends.
