Electives
occur twice a week in the afternoons. Class sizes range from two
students to as many as thirteen (larger groups are for organized sports
electives). The average elective class size is four students and one
instructor.
Electives offered in the past at AMS include: Weaving, Soccer,
Baseball, Basketball and other sports, Painting, Pottery, Jewelry
making, Creative writing, Tree house construction, Paper making,
Remaking clothes, Vegan cooking, French, German, and Spanish, Drama,
Sculpey design, Photography, Film and movie making, Dance, Guitar,
Philosophy, Exploring Celo, Bushwhacking and Jogging.
