Hannah Levin ('91-'09) has been teaching art and leading backpacking trips at the Outdoor Academy since leaving AMS after two years of working here. She has been working part-time, which has made it possible for her to delve more deeply into other passionate pursuits, namely yoga teacher training, music and pottery. She says, "I am constantly aware of how my experiences at AMS (both as a student from '92-'93 and staff in '07-'09 have given me such amazing tools in my life."

Lonica Solomon ('97-'98) returned to Indiana in 2008 from NY to be closer to her family and got a job teaching middle school science at Hebrew Day School in Indianapolis. But fear not, her name shall never change!

She's working again in health care, which feels really right. They've enjoyed x-country skiing again and re-connecting with AK friends, though they miss their friends in NC. She think of AMS often and is looking forward to the 50th reunion in 2012!

John Daughtridge ('08-'10) is a sophomore at Southwest High and says, "AMS made a real impact on my life; I go camping every weekend. Also, I think I'm going to be a Chef when I get older thanks to AMS and Pete McGuire; he and a lot of others taught me a lot. I miss AMS!"
